so instead of an expansion it is pretty much disappearing

They had promotional posters in the theaters here... I hope this changes.

We were hoping, ready to get a few together and go.

There's one theater in all of Chicagoland showing it, the big AMC River East. It's been taken out everywhere else.

It's done poorly and there no chance it will have a wide release. You can expect it on DVD in about 2-3 month though!

Well this is interesting.... I'm seeing on Box Office Mojo, 2 new theaters listed as showing MM starting this Friday.

something like that probably means vegas and BG, Illinois are tied to the filmakers in some way--like hometowns of a producer or actor or the director

I doubt it. Buffalo Grove is a discount theater. $5 movies.

I think the actor/producer connection was already there. MM has been playing alot in Texas. Plano, Mesquite, and Austin. Outside of TX I don't think the film played in the south.
