I saw this movie and want to see it again! No, it's not a masterpiece but I thought it was very interesting and entertaining! It's better than Other Guys, Salt and The Expendables! (Didn't see Eat Pray Love, yet). Anyways, why wasn't this movie promoted at all? I didn't know it existed until I saw a poster at my local movie theater.
shareIt was but in a very limited way. Luke Wilson did the talk show circuit. Supposedly they put alot of promo into online prerolls before adult clips (that's what I've read here). A mistake I think because it's not really a movie about porn. It was only released on 200 screens on the 6th.
For an independent movie it seems to me they put a huge amount of money into the soundtrack and less into promotion....The Stones, Moby, Patsy Cline, Outkast, Hall & Oates. I think if the film is going to have a life its going to be on dvd. I'm not sure if they are sticking with it going wide on the 20th.
Maybe this mattress will spin on its axis and find me on yours.
It was pretty good...I don't see how you can think it's better than Salt though, Salt was fantastic. A Serbian Film was the best film of 2010 though by far. I'd say Black Swan was second best though.
