Tracking Terrorists

If it is true that the US government tracked terrorists through porn billing and arrested or killed them in the process it was pure brilliance on someones part. Is it true? And if so, were the online girls recruited as indicated in the movie?

Go ahead, make my day....

not sure how accurate that part was but it wouldnt surprise me if it was true. i remember watching porn star Sasha Grey's Steven Soderbergh film The Girlfriend Experience where she plays a high priced NYC escort during the height of the Obama/McCain presidential election/beginning of the recession and there was a scene where she was being interviewed by some sleezy guy trying to get her to escort over in Dubai and he mentioned how the most popular types of escorts/hookers/pornstars in demand over in the middle east was for WHITE WOMEN, especially blondes. it just goes to show the hypocrisy, that even though they claim to HATE us Americans and our culture, they secretly LOVE our women. im sure there is a link there somewhere. Middle Men was a great film by the way. One of the best I've seen in a year or two.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about when this film is set. But if it was prior to the revenge bombing of Afghanistan the dates don't tie up. And in any case these guys were certainly not sitting at home with an IP number advertising their location, waiting for a cruise missile to come down the chimney.

From the other side, although NSA/CIA are now very skilled at tracking locations it wasn't a priority in the earlier stages, and I think it's just one of the many details that were invented to make a better story.
