I really like this directors work in the past. Here she has allowed Bradley Cooper to look far too modern with that stubble. No man in this tme would walk around like that. If you make a period film, try at least to be accurate. Would love to know whose idea this was.

I think you're right, it probably should've been more like a bushy gold miner's beard. Something along the lines of 'There Will be Blood'.

Ijust don't get it. This director is usually more detail oriented.
