In the book, she is killed by George's son many years later.

With all the ridiculous and wrong headed changes they've made already, who knows what will happen in the movie version.

Well, she burn herself to death at the very last scene of the movie, which is stunning

Yep, and that really makes sense as her parents died that way, when she was 12 and she said earlier in the movie, she was supposed to burn next to them
