S00o00o Boring...Saw a free screening in Fresno last week
Bradley Cooper is just awful in this! He look like he got only few hours of sleep every time he was on screen. They must have made this pretty quick.
Jennifer Lawrence tries to save the movie but it doesn't matter, the chemistry is way off. You would have never known they starred in a movie previously.
The sets were awful, I'm pretty sure I saw a modern car in the background during one scene.
Here's some of the plot:
Bradley Cooper rides up in his horse drawn carriage. He asks the local farmer he'd like to purchase some milk. The farmer's daughter is Jennifer Lawrence. Cooper admits that the cattle he owns is stolen.
Lawrence, a Johnson County bordello madam from Quebec who accepts stolen cattle as payment for use of her prostitutes, is infatuated with Galloway. Cooper gets a copy of the Association's death list from a baseball-playing U.S. Army captain and later reads the names aloud to the settlers, who are thrown into terrified turmoil. Campbell, a station master and a friend of Galloway's, sees the train with Galloway's posse heading north and rides off to warn the settlers, but is murdered en route. Later, a group of men come to Serena's bordello and rape her; Bradley Cooper shoots and kills all but one of them.
Cooper and Lawrence then have sexual relations. When word gets out, Sheriff McDowell sends a warrant for George's arrest. Cooper tries to get on a train to Philadelphia but is stopped en route. When asked if Cooper did it, he lies and say 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman.'
The local farmer, who cares for Alice, races ahead to intercept Sheriff Toby Jones, killing several warriors before engaging in single combat with Bradley Cooper. Cooper kills him, then drops his body off the cliff. Rather than join Cooper, Lawrence follows her father, jumping to her death. Hawkeye and Chingachgook fall upon the Hurons, killing several. While Hawkeye holds the rest at bay, Chingachgook engages and kills Bradley Cooper. After a ritual for The Local Farmer and Alice with Cora and Hawkeye, Chingachgook announces that he is the last of the Mohicans.
