They should have kept to the book
I did not read the book, however, reading the posts here with the synopsis of the book I would say that the book sounds much more dramatic than the film. There were too many gaps in the film that left the viewer confused. Also, Cooper and Lawrence mumbled too many scenes and I couldn't understand the dialogue to add to the confusion.
