I heard that this move will unfortunately be going straight to DVD and won't even make it to American/Canadian theaters. Can anyone confirm that they've heard this as well?

I think VOD in february and in theatres march, but that may have changed!
sharewell unless they re-edit it it does have the feel of a TV movie to me.
And this is coming from a huuuuge Lawrence and Bier fan.
A good thing, too. You shouldn't have to pay theatre admission for this.
