There is something I must have missed in this movie, which I just finished watching. When Bradley Cooper's baby mama (Rachel) left town for safety and was staying at a "safe house" with someone named Mrs. Sloan, who was a stranger to her and was not known to anyone else in the movie other than the sheriff (Zola Templesmith), how did Galloway know where Rachel was? No one other than the sheriff knew where Rachel was (until he told Bradley Cooper), she was even out of state and no one else besides the sheriff knew that.

Serena had Galloway look for her. If you look for someone, it's wouldn't be that hard to find.

In the movie, Galloway had second sight. In the book, his mother (with whom he lived in the stringhouse)had the second sight and told him to look in Kingsport, TN so he went there and hung around the depot util he saw her.
