Soo was that it? Shoot 'Em Up was better
I wouldn't say the movie was bad or anything like that, it was extremely mediocre.
It's sort of hard to feel good about the relationship between Bruce Willis and what seems to be a pretty young girl(Atleast compared to Willis!) maybe it's because of Sin City, but I could just imagine Bruce Willis narrate that he was just a horny old dude trying to get together with a girl he'd never met. But really there was no chemistry between them.
I haven't read the comics, but my guess is they tried to achieve the feeling you get when watching Leon, like she was suppose to be his litteral connection to any kind of emotion, it failed.
The action scenes, were decent, but to me the pace of the movie always went down to a halt afterwards, the only real memorable action scene was the one with the car, which was really cool, but nothing like what they wanted to achieve(again I suspect they wanted Bruce Willis to be like Clive Owen in Shoot 'Em Up(I don't even like Clive Owen, he's just great in that movie imo).
So yes my conclusion is they wanted to create a mix between Leon and Shoot 'Em Up, and ended up making something inferior to both, while abusing an innocent comic.. Nice...
