it's totally another story. and the comic book wasn't a comedy at all.
I don't even see the link with the comic book appart the name of the hero and the fact he's a retired cia badass whose life is threatened.
someone should do a movie based on the comic book. that would be great.
more-13, Warren Ellis has stated that he feels that the movie was changed because the graphic novel did not have enough material for a full length movie. While this may be true, I completely agree with you. If the book doesn't have enough for a full length movie then you just add more to the story. There was no reason why they had to completey change it the way they did.
