I don't get the negative reviews. To me, this is without a doubt the best movie of the year. The writing is perfect, the performances are perfect and quite simply, the scenes are masterfully done. I hope you give this movie a chance.

shareYea I don't get the hate either. I liked it 7/10 I spent a month on moloka'i and this movie (for me) captured what Hawaian people behave like. Yes I am a "Haole".
The time I spent there I could not tell who was native who was Chinese, who was Japanese, and all the mixes. If there was a way to visually tell who was who I missed out on it. The thing is we were all locals, even me.
