I didn't see any particular reason for moving it back 7 years like that, did you?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Why not

When you create a story you can make it set in whatever date you want

Maybe they wanted to set it in an era where the president of the USA was not Hawaiian.

Interesting. Did not notice and did not think that it could be before The Evil One. But was he not Kenyan? ;-)
