Want to see this movie done right?
Take a look into 'Swimming Pool' with Charlotte Rampling and Ludivine Sagnier. I'd say it rips off far more from that film than 'Secret Window.'
I thought the EXACT same thing; just got done watching it. It seemed like a cross between Swimming Pool and What Lies Beneath. I didn't think it resembled Secret Window as much as other people seem to think it did. It was an okay movie, nothing spectacular, but it had its moments and I am a fan of the cast.

Yes "Swimming Pool" is really excellent and much more subtle and ambiguos than "Deadline". I did enjoy "Deadline" though as the camera work was interesting to watch and I like films that have long scenes with no dialogue.
