Non-credible plot flaw: SPOILER alert

I love this show, becoming my clear TV favorite--maybe even among my top 10 all-time shows over last 50 years (!)-- but last night's (June 22) episode ended on an all-but -impossible note. When Terry and Annie talk and agree to live together, it takes place on her front steps, very far away from the microphone/camera inside Terry's borrowed car at the curb. Yet, their conversation is heard clear as day by Melissa and Owen when they listen/watch the monitor. Wish it weren't so, but no way this can happen.

it was already established that the mics could pick up sound from a distance as we see with bruce. So while it may not be realistic, it was already a set thing

I don't know why they didn't just have the scene take place in the car.

I thought the same thing about that scene, that the audio sure was clear for that. But I was waiting for her to laugh in Terry's face when he led up to this big thing that he was ready to define something, and then he says, "Let's move in together." LOL. I thought he was going to ask her to marry him. He is still not grown up, I guess, but neither is she.

I thought maybe there was a microchip in Terry's pants which Erin (who just couldn't wait to "pee") had on. Maybe??

I don't know if I would call it a "plot-flaw". That is a little strong.

Plus, Owen and his wife were really straining to hear, and certainly must have turned up the volume... just go with it...if that's your only complaint, it's not a big deal...

her apartment front door is only a few steps away...

Owen bought some seriously hi tech equipment !
