I wonder why how come it was the Sherrif who was the crueler and the one who pushed to the barbaric rapes and it seemd like he really wated to do it, as if he took revenge at her. I wonder who morally he did it with no regret when he has a girl the he love a lot himself. We can see at the end of the film how he really care about the well being of his daughter when he was himself in a terrible situation where Jennifer was about to kiil him and shove the rifle up his ass. I just cannot understand the moral aspect of it or the "humane" aspect if you will.

Plenty of rapists have daughters the same age as their victims. It's not possible for a human being to truly understand a monster that would participate in something like that. You could even say he instigated and controlled it.

What? Because he is in law enforcement he is supposed to be the pillar of decency. You can't be that naive. In the film, he was a sick, twisted, hillbilly POS like the other men.



I meant because he himself has a little girl that he seems to love in the movie, not because he was a sheriff.
