How good is this movie compared to the original?

I have only seen the original 1978 version and was truly impressed by it. Is this movie a direct remake of that film or a different film with different plot?

The remake isn't as brutal as far as the rapes but it's still rape. The way she kills the men is more cartoonish tho.

Original is way better. It is not believable that this scrawny girl could drag those KO'd men into the positions they end up in.
