I thought the acting was pretty good. I found the story a little slow at first, but it picked up towards the end. It's worth checking out, although I'm on the fence if I will watch the next episode. I would rate the first episode a 7/10. Anyone else seen it?

I saw the first episode. I wasn’t crazy about it. I will keep watching for now. One thing that wasn’t clear is whether each episode will be a separate story, or if there is a season-long arc.

As a fan of the old CBC Beachcombers series I give it definite thumbs up! There is it - Gibson's Point, Molly's Reach - in all its magnificent splendor!!!
