comments about Lem's mom early in the show.

I've pretty much rewatched the whole series over the last couple of days. When I got to "Battle of the Bulbs" I felt like I remembered that in one of the earliest episodes there are comments about Lem's mom being really overweight or something? Which is obviously the opposite of where they ended up going with her.

All google searches for anything about Lem's mom are only bringing me stuff about Khandi Alexander, and I don't want to rewatch the whole first episodes already just to find a couple of offhand comments that may not even exist.

Does anyone else recall what was said?

Just started watching this on Netflix instant. I think the overweight comments that you're remembering are in reference to the security guard's wife ("She weighs over 400 lbs... I keep telling her the human knee's not built for that.") that won't badge Ted into the lab after the HR lady deletes him from the system. ("Can you 'relete' me?")
