what was it? i still haven't seen coupling, but i was trying to figure out what it could have been after i read your post...

Coupling was a UK comedy they tried redoing in here in the USA. The ator who plays Ted was cast as Steve in the Coupling reboot, and in the Coupling series Steves best freind was a spastic little perv named Jeffery

So what was the actual reference, somebody named Jeffrey? Not that I've seen that episode yet but I'm curious. I love "Coupling".

In the episode as the odd office guy walked away from Ted, he siad "Oh, Jeffery" even though the guys name wasnt Jeffery
