Atrocious and insulting

I actually watched this movie to see just how bad it was.. and it was 3am too lol

first off, it drives me nuts how movies show guys in the military especially Marines with a full beard.. Yes in the movie it had him being on leave or something but he would still be in the military and having to abide by the grooming standards..

now after that the whole movie sucks..... I mean the original was different especially for it being in the 80's... the plot of the remake wasnt even the same..

The character casting for the movie was awful, the brothers didnt even look like brothers.. And wtf was up with the Toni and Erica knowing the brothers?? in the original they didnt know them from the start.. let alone be dating one of them..

And Josh Peck and his character sucked the big donkey dick.. i mean seriously his brother should of just shot him at the beginning of the movie and called it good..

The whole flow of the movie just didnt make any sence.. Plus there was no character development so if any of the characters died off, it was like ohhhh well lol...... the only time i did a WTF was at the end when they killed off Jed...

And the whole ending scene where they are " rallying " people up was a big WTF...

What was insulting about it?

It sucked so bad. And "a group of teens"- everybody in the movie looks over 20, which ruins the whole part about them being kids having to deal with war, in this film they are just dumb action heroes. The plot had no timing, and the movie is just a real mess. Not to mention the awful cinematography and gun fire FX. It feels like an ode pendant movie written by a 10 year old.
