So the black kid getting left behind has no resolution?
I'm thinking he was some sort of analog to Toni (Jennifer Grey) in the original that has to get left behind cause she's mortally injured. At least we get to see her take people out with the grendade she's been holding onto. That was a much better moment than some kid being left behind and... nope that's it, he just gets left behind.
