John Milus
I don't know why, but apparently everyone thinks John Milius films are easy to reboot. Just as it happened with Conan, Red Dawn generated controversy over what went wrong?
Plain and simple, terrible directing and even worse writing . You come to realize what a genius Milius actually is.
There's a lot of action scenes and seems pretty exciting, but it lacks the feelings and emotions the original film generated. The result is just another shallow TV soap.
You need not imitate the masters, you only need to seek what they sought.
