She’s the mother of Annabeth, who is played by black actress Leah Jeffries (who was played by the gorgeous and perfectly cast Alexandra Daddario in the films).
Now, I can almost buy the DEI fanfic shifting of Annabeth to black if Greek goddess Athena had sex with a black human.
Almost.
But making a Greek goddess black is absolute BS.
None of any Ancient Greek texts or artwork depicted them as black.
Why would they?
That is a modern misrepresentation.
