How did Lou find the young versions of his friends in the 80s after they left? I mean he should've found them once again after they've returned, so he could help them change thier future !

He found them in the room all of them shared that weekend. And both of the other main characters futures did change...John Cusacks character ended up with the girl he met in Kodiak Valley and still living together when they went back to the future, and Craig Robinson's character was no longer working at a Veterinarians office and became a well known singer and his name was no longer hyphenated.

it doesn't actually state what happens to the other characters once their counterparts leave. Do they simply appear where they would have been in that moment in the original timeline (as presumably they didn't go into the hot tub)
