Episode 4

Cringe, as the kids once said (not sure if they still do).

Obviously they took major "inspiration" from Logan Paul and what he did, but it somehow felt both too soon and too late to base an episode around it. I think they were going for social criticism, but it's focused so closely on one even that happened 3 years ago that it took away from the relevance of it. And I don't think enough time has passed for it to be cemented as a historical event.

There's plenty to explore and criticize in the influencer culture online, and the constant chase of follower and success, but this just felt like an old man ranting at me for 40 mins.

Also, whatever they were trying to accomplish with the "content", it sure did not feel like a youtube video.

These kids, and their youtubes, amiright?

I don't think that what Logan Paul did will ever be "cemented in history". If anything, it will be a footnote 100 years from now when college students are taking: Early 21st Century Internet Culture 101.

I wonder if any of the guys nailed their role on a casting cough at Ryan Murphy's house.

The whole episode felt like one of those gay porn scenes where supposedly "straight" men have sex with each other. In those they also refer to each other as bro's every 10 seconds.

Some gay men fetishize straight men but in my view it doesn't go well with horror.
