Age difference between Jane and Rochester in the book
Haven't read it in a while.I remember Jane being 18 but what about Rochester ?Is he like 35 or something ?

At the time of the failed wedding, Rochester was 37.
Chapter 26:
"Away with your congratulations!...they are fifteen years too late!"
Chapter 27:
"I lived with that woman upstairs four years....Thus, at the age of twenty-six, I was hopeless."
So Rochester was 22 when he married Bertha, and he had been married to her for 15 years.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
