How much of this dialog do you think was riffed?
I know Will Ferrell is known for riffing his lines, and maybe Steve Carrell. Some of their interchanges were hilarious!
The parts I suspect were heavily "riffed":
1. the second meeting between Brick and Chonnie (sp?)when he tells her about himself.
2. Ron's confrontation scene with Brian at their apartment
3. Champ explaining what's in his "secret" recipes
4. Ron's heart to heart chat with his son at the lake
5. The RV scene
6. the family dinner scene
