I'm confused ...
When William Brandt (Jeremy Renner) made the copies of the launch codes, with the gadget in his eye, I thought the numbers rearranged.
How did the launch codes work?
Wouldn't the numbers be incorrect?
That was the original plan, but since Wistrom/Hendricks brought the Russian techie guy to confirm the codes, Ethan and his team had to change their plan and give them the real codes; and therefore Benji re-programmed the suitcase printer in order to print the real codes (instead of rearranging them).
