You should see Thirst. I can definitely say Let Me In would be #1 for me. Let's see:

1-LMI (I don't buy into "first means it's better" logic)
2-Interview with the Vampire
3-Fright Night
4-Thirst
5-Blade 2
6-Daybreakers
7-Blade
8-Lost Boys
9-Underworld
10-Near Dark (I noticed the same thing about the cast from Aliens)

From Dust til Dawn is interesting because I really liked it a lot...until it became a vampire film. I pretty much hated it from that point on. The dividing line with Salma dancing was pretty awesome of course. 😀

I need to see Byzantium.

The comment about Kirsten Dunst was interesting to me. I notice that we often heap praise upon children for doing just about anything in a competent manner. So many times a child actor that got a ton of praise will grow up and most seem surprised to find out they can't actually act that well. I'll not be surprised to see the same thing happen to the kids in LMI and LTROI. I haven't seen the latest Chloe Moretz films, but her acting seemed pretty average to me the last time I saw her (Kick Ass 2). I wouldn't be surprised if Kodi turns out the best of all of them.

The Keanu Reeves Dracula movie was ruined by him imo....I can't stand it.

Let the Right One In would probably make my top 15 list. The acting, town drunks, and the unexplored castration side-plot hold it back for me. The music is my favorite part really.

Hey thanks for your feedback :)

I didn't say i liked it better cos its the original. I said it was neck and neck and I liked them about the same, somethings better in each one. But I had to place one of them at number 10 and I hate when people put two things on one number in a list, so Let the Right one In went ahead for being more original :)

Both Byzantium and Only Lovers Left Alive are not for everyone.

I like Chloe Moretz in most things, but she was hit and miss in the Carrie remake.

Which Fright Night is on your list? Probably the original huh? I am not a huge fan of it, not aged well for me, I prefer the still very flawed remake.

The '85 version. It does have some flaws, but I just prefer the elegant menace of Chris Sarandon over Collin Farrell. There are moments in the movie where Sarandon truly scares me. The "I can come over any time I want" scene. Plus Roddy McDowell...love that guy. It's got some comedy too. The "Evil Ed" character is the one thing I don't like. That actor was terrible.
