shareAgree with you. I haven't actually seen the famous "Kick Ass", but did see her in Hick (some good acting) and Hugo (completely charming performance). Seen nothing of her "grown up", yet, but it seems she's in a new release every month so I'm bound to get my chance.

I haven't seen her recent movies...I should probably check out The Equalizer.
You might love Kick Ass or hate it...it's that kind of movie. "Weird in a good way" for me...but I've heard other people hate it. I always put it at the #1 spot on my list of favorite comic book movies. ...Along with Watchmen, Mystery Men, and Captain America: Winter Soldier if that tells you anything. Only one of those had a really high RT score with critics.

This will probably end up as one of her gems that fans point to as "underrated". All actors have those kinds of roles..."You should see him/her in _______ best thing he/she ever did!" Probably similar to "Leon the Professional" with Natalie Portman. (It made less than LMI did)

The movie is VERY SLOW past, and not everybody can actually apreciate this kind of filming. Myself i was interest in the story but at some point was like "hum... cmon advance a bit movie" and i think it would had been more than enough at 90min run time.
Sure the way its filmed is pretty good, the snow scene when they meet (Abby and Owen) are really great, but at some point it really drag.
So this is fair to say it will not please the michael bay audiance that goes see pop corn movies...
Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!

Thanks for the correction. Box office mojo only lists the domestic gross for some odd reason and that fooled me. They never do that...I wonder why?
