Why did Abby leave in the taxi and where was she going?
At the very last scene Owen is on a train while Abby is in a trunk. Where were they headed?

Why did Abby leave in the taxi and where was she going?She left in the Taxi because she killed the police officer. She doesn't have a specific destination in mind -- only to get away.

It's one of many things in LMI that you have to write yourself. (half the fun imo) Abby leaves in a taxi. That indicates she left town at least. But then you have to figure out how she knew Owen was in trouble later. I think they have some sort of psychic connection that allowed Abby to sense it. She did crash through that glass at a high rate of speed.
Where they are going at the end is totally a mystery. That's where you get to interpret the future. Sorta like the end of The Graduate.
