the George Lucas syndrome
Decent idea, decent story, but the directing was absolutely horrible. The actor's performances seemed awkward and not right. Don't get me wrong I watch a lot of B movies and love them but this felt like I was watching a college film project. I think the actors were fine it was just the direction that sucked...like the Star Wars prequels. I think if the director had stuck to doing just the special FX and hired an actual director this would have been a great horror film. To his credit the special FX were amazing, by far the best part of the film.
