shareOne of his victims gets his hands on the glue he uses to put his mask on, and mixes it with cyanoacrylate. ChromeSkull loses his mask to the final girl, and he tries using the tainted glue to put it back on. It starts burning his mask onto his face and he tries to rip it off, but his face comes off with his mask, and then the girl mashes his skull with a baseball bat.

and yeah its pretty unrealistic but then what horror isn't? Jason and most horror villians are constantly coming back and seldom realistically. If I remember right, he is seen (or someone is seen) picking up the mask during or just after the credits.

It's clear that it's more than one person involved in the killings anyway, just by the participation of the mortician. There's no telling how far it extends and what the connections are.
