One thing that drives me crazy: on the racetrack

I have to say that I'm a big fan of the MCU and love to watch the movies again and again. But there's one thing that confuses me.

When Vanko attacks Stark's fast car Happy Hogan comes with a car and smashes Vanko against the wall. Vanko doesn't stop so Hogan nails him onto the wall two times more.

How can that be considered to be realistic? I mean an almost naked man, only with pants on and no armor but only a tiny harness can not survive such a car attack! Never!

I remember the first time I saw the movie and the police or security were dragging him away, I thought he had lost the bottom half of his legs.

O wow I thought the SAME thing! I thought his legs got chopped off!! His pants seemed to have severed around his knees and it looked bloody or something... interesting...
