much better than crap iron man 3: true or false

I'm 3 such a bad movie everyone now realise this is better that they thought. True or false??

I agree. I never actually thought Iron Man 2 was a bad film. I think people just over hyped it too much. This film came out during the "darker and grittier means better" phase of superhero films and people expected this to be Iron Man's Dark Knight. Iron Man 3, however, was a terrible, terrible film.

I agree with npiazza91 . I liked Iron Man 2 when I originally saw it. The only thing I think would have made it better was if there had been more on Ivan's background. I thought Ivan had plenty of reason to be angry, and there was a lot of potential for exploring the legacy themes that got touched on. In fact, Mickey Rourke said they were going to do just that but it got left on the cutting room floor, which was a shame.

But the potential IM2 wasted was NOTHING compared to the potential that got wasted with regard to the Mandarin. Ugh. I hate those kinds of swerves. I felt like I ordered a pizza but someone delivered me a carburetor.

IM3 is not an Ironman movie at all, I like to believe it is a nightmare Tony had

reply

I'm not a fan of the 'it was all a dream' angle, but in this case I fully agree. Iron Man 4 should start out with Tony waking up and recalling all the IM3 nonsense to an amused Pepper.

I like 3, but 2 is better in my opinion. I tend to watch it more than the other two.

I beg to differ. Iron Man 2 (not bad at all) was more of a set-up for the Avengers. I did think Hammer played the part too much as a schmuck opportunist instead of a vindictive killer. Personally, I found Iron Man 3 a lot better. It showed Tony Stark in the maturing process. He realized how his grandiose ego and flippant attitude towards other can backfire on him. As for Killian, I thought he was a much better villain than Whiplash and Hammer. Killian was out for revenge, but his main agenda was using the science behind Extremis and the Mandarin to bolster his faux war on terror. Iron Man 3 is more of a Tony Stark Movie. The only thing I didn't like was the use of Ty Simpkin. He wasn't bad as an actor and did his part well, but that part of the story was an obvious gimick to get kids to the movie. If you think Iron Man 3 is crap, go ahead because that is your opinion. I just pose this question: WHY do you think it was crap?

Both are great. I like them about equally. Can't even decide which I prefer, if either.

I initially didn't care for it much in the theaters, probably b/c of the bad reviews. Since I've seen it on tv on blu ray and I like it better than the original. Iron Man 3 I liked a bit better on second viewing. Still the weakest, but not bad at all. Atleast a 7/10.
