Where have the fans gone!? Given up hope? Lol!

Anyway, just thinking this movie looks quite promising. Urban Justice & Pistol Whipped were great... then we had a slump with Kill Switch (terrible!) and Against the Dark!! Hopefully this film will get him back on track.

And there does look like there's going to be some classic Seagal stuff here - some great one-liners too shown in the trailer.

But seriously, I think Seagal would benefit with a bigger budget. I mean, $20,000,000 at least. Then at least we may get higher production values, and better directors and editors (*cough* Kill Switch *cough*).

Also if he only made 1 - 2 films per year, rather than 4 or 5 he may have a bit more enthusiasm for them and make a bit more effort - rather than release films so often that he just seems bored.

Mind you, that's just my thoughts. I'm not slating Seagal or anything - I loved Against the Law, Hard To Kill, Marked for Death, Under Seige 1 & 2 & even Pistol Whipped & Urban Justice.

Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

I think that he needs to care more. Me too, I like him, but his lack of interest is making his career go downhill. Just watch Kill Switch. It was obvious that Steven's heart wasn't there, he wasn't even trying. First, he needs to get a grip of himself. Lose some wight and work with a director like Isaac Forentine. He works with a tiny budget and tight schedule and his films are kick @ss. Forentine could work a comeback for Seagal, but enough with this ex-CIA, ex-special agent thing. Steven should go back to his roots, he should play a decent, clean cop like Nico of Above the Law. Good action stars like Jim Brown or Carl Weathers would be great as Seagal's partners, Henry Silva is always fun to watch, could be a villain...Well, there are a lot of ways Seagal can claim his status back, but he has to make the right moves.
