LOL when he is photoshopped it is not good, and now when we see the actual Seagal on the cover it is not good again...yes, you can never please everybody...
But anyway cover and title are not as much important as the film quality.
they could have done a much better job then that. it cant be that hard

Well, movie posters/dvd covers that depict the lone badass holding a pistol in the foreground and the firey remains of an explosion in the background have been around a long time. They didn't invent that for Quantum. (And besides, that shot wasn't even the main Quantum image, the one with him holding the gigantic rifle over his shoulder was.)
I think the Seagal cover looks really good and is a huge step up from the cheap look of the art from his more recent releases. I think if they wanted to rip off a poster in an attempt to piggyback on another movie' success, they would have ripped off the poster for Taken, as it was a big hit (and re-used the basic plot of many a Seagal cheapie---ie, ex CIA superman going on a rampage to rescue his daughter).
Check out the posters for Scarface, Vantage Point and A Man Apart to see badass dudes standing the same way, holding their guns the same way (ok, no explosions in the background, but hey--every Seagal dvd has heliocopters, explosions or cars flipping on the cover.
shareDespite the fact that it closely resembles the Quantum of Solace cover, I think this is one of the best covers of any Seagal movie. Takes the darkened figure of the Taken poster and meshes it with the exploding background of QoS. Very cool. Let's hope the movie is good too.
