i saw it. i lol at seagals russian accent. the first 27 min is mostly dialog and the action isn't as graphic as ks. but seagal is back to his ew shape and there's no doubles. (spoiler) i also lol when ruslan punched the guy in the nose and tossed his face to the glass table in the pawn shop.

pm me and i'll give it to you. and yes this movie kept me enticed for more. (spoilers) the knife fight in the stripper club reminded me of the knife fight from under siege between casey and stranix. the russian carnival music during most of the fight scenes were funny.

The version I saw is actually still called RUSLAN (which I presume is the version all you above also watched) before FOX got their hands on it. I wonder if FOX will make any changes to it before they release it under the new title DRIVEN TO KILL???

i hope they leave most of it alone but if they do anything maybe they could get rid of the terrible blod bags seagal uses when using his knife in the stripclub

i would give the movie 9/10 for what it is a STV action film

better than most of seagals other films and better than most of van dammes and dolphs action films apart from wake of death

i think people who think the keeper is going to be better than this will be dissapointed as althoguh it looks to have good PV(it is backed and financed by voltage who are a decent company) i think it will be a slow moving action thriller a bit like OOR or PW and not many fights

going of the trailer and the screenshots ive seen i think theres about 4 fights at most and a few shoot outs

where has DTK had maybe 7 fights and about 4 shootouts

My rating for DTK: 8.5/10

I agree with all the points that Ras previously mentioned about the film.For some reason we both always have the same views when it comes to Seagal's films!

Only negatives:

1.The camera is too close for a few of the fights.
2.Where was the(missing)kitchen knife fight?! Perhaps they shot it but decided not to include that in the film?!
3.Too much traditional Russian music whenever Seagal had a fight!
4.Some dubbing

Either way I would say it's Seagal's best SDVD yet :)

Yes justice I missed the kitchen fight too, the stuntactor said also that there should be a car chase but it isn't.

But anyway a cool movie. Love the optical, not very special locations, BUT very good lighting, crystal clear pictures. Great!

I have not seen the film yet but I just saw a new trailer on youtube and Steven was running. I havent seen him run like that forever, did anyone else think it was weird? lol. But anyways the film looks BA and I will be buying it when it comes out.

Question

I heard there was dubbing. Is it done by Steven? And if not is it annoying?
