I think you should have seen Urban justice first.Urban justice is much better than both of them
shareYeah i ve seen it but i don't think it's better than the 2 mentioned..the fight scenes are weirdly shot and the plot is as boring as in this one..buti do like some of the action better in uj(car chase)

Please!! Driven to Kill is only marginally better than Kill Switch. And Urban Justice was a joke. (slurs 'hood talk* "Who killed mah son??"!!). Seagal has more stunt doubles in those movies than an episode of The A Team.
Pistol Whipped is superior to all of them. Decent story, well-known character actors, much better fight scenes and Seagal actually trying to act and not doing a bad job of it either (well, for Seagal anyway). His character actually had a little dimension for a change.
I give Urban Justice a half notch up on Pistol simply for the fact that it is more straightforward. Pistol has some confusing story twists that make me feel like it lost something from the screenplay stage to the finished film during the editing process (not to mention the fact that they should have left the title "Marker" which at least means something).
I had no problem with Seagal's deep southern accent in UJ--anyone who thinks it's only a "black" or "urban" accent has never lived in the deep south.
Ah've knowed plenny o' whayte min hoo've tawlked laik thet.
I think Pistol Whipped aimed higher and missed the mark a bit while I think UJ aimed lower but hit right on target.
And Driven to Kill is 100 times better than that POS Kill Switch! C'mon!
Oh, and as to the original question--I think I have to give Pistol Whipped/Marker the nod, just because I can imagine myself re-watching it more often than Driven to Kill. But I like both, for what they are.
shareHmmm, if Pistol Whipped and Driven to Kill are comparable, I'll have to rent Pistol Whipped because I just finished watching DTK and I was actually impressed. For a direct to video action and considering Seagal is past his prime, I loved it.
Now, Kill Switch I thought was bad. Really bad. Mostly because Seagal's stunt double is so obvious that it's excruciatingly embarassing to watch.
Driven To Kill is the best Seagal movie in many years. I wouldn't expect much from Pistol Whipped. If Driven To Kill had a couple more fight scenes, it would be very similar to the quality of his early movies. I was actually impressed with this movie, which is something I haven't said about a Seagal movie in a long time.
