Random disappearances

Does anyone else notice characters just kind of randomly disappear? Ethan, Annie's grandma, Kelly, Harry.,.etc (only one season 2 right now) and there are so many stories that are left without closure

Uh yes it is super annoying. I think Kelly, Harry and later Debbie are the worst. Silver is still living in Kelly's garage when she has her second bipolar meltdown, cancer scare and when she has her crazy surrogacy drama. Kelly is nowhere to be seen?

Harry... Such a caring, fun and loving dad his first two seasons, then he completely dissapeared. Didn't even show up when Dixon was in the hospital and when Annie got shot.

Debbie... The best TV mom I've seen in a long time. Abandones her 19 year old kids in America to just live in Paris and returns with some bad acting for one episode later on... And that is just a fracture of this

They don't disappear. They get written off because the actors get fired. But at least they write reasons for why the characters are no longer there. Some shows don't even do that.
