The female characters are interesting and yet the males

are so boring!

Does anyone notice that?

Since Season 2, they changed all of the characters and added Teddy to the mix. Ever since then, the male characters seem to be incredibly useless. During that season, the whole show got a huge makeover by Rebecca Sinclair in wardrobe, sets, production, story lines and mostly for the better. However, she changed the characters and made them worse, with maybe the exception of Naomi and Annie. Still, the female characters lead this show from being a total snooze fest.

Liam is used to be so interesting in Season 1 but it's like he regressed and became whiny, stupid, melodramatic, and dull as well. You could have said Navid and Dixon were always boring but they still regressed too and changed in a very negative way. Silver and Adrianna might have changed but at least they still were entertaining despite how irritating they became. At one point, Navid, Dixon and Liam became insufferable and in no way needed for the show anymore. Teddy became interesting when he became gay but the new writers of Season 4 took him out. Raj is kind of interesting yet he is only a minor character. Even Ivy is more entertaining than all the guys. Season 5 highlighted that more than any other season but it was always there because they are all so two dimensional. The girls seem deep and complex despite being horrible people at times. Annie is probably the only exception because the actress lacks charisma but even she was more entertaining at a lot of points as well.
