6 Degrees of 'The Inbetweeners'

It's interesting how many TV shows/movies have a direct or indirect link back to The Inbetweeners through the actors/actresses that have appeared in those film and TV programs. It works like this: An actor/actress must have appeared in The Inbetweeners either as a cast member or guest role; or worked with someone from the Inbetweeners in another series. Once that happens, you can connect other shows through that actor or actress.

Example: Mark Heap. He can be connected to the Inbetweeners via his co-starring role with Simon Bird in "Friday Night Dinner". That's the first connection. That now connects The Inbetweeners to "Skins", "Spy", "A Moody Christmas" through Mark Heap. The Inbetweeners and Skins can also be connected through a guest role by James Buckley in Skins.

Another Example: Charlie Wernham. Charlie played Danny Moore, the kid who beats up Simon for brushing into him in the hallway in the episode "Work Experience". Charlie appears as a regular in "School of Comedy" with Will Poulter. That connects to the movie "Meet the Millers", which Poulter co-stars. "Meet the Millers" is also connected to the Inbetweeners via Mark L. Young, who portrays Neil in the US version of the show. That also connect the Inbetweeners to "Betas" on Amazon, as Young has a small role in that show.

There are plenty of these connections...please contribute to the thread if you like.

From Simon's dad you can connect to Phoneshop to Facejacker and Ideal to The Office to Extras and Derek and Bruiser to Peep Show and Mitchell and Webb. I've previously thought that I Could connect the ten or so BBC/e4 shows I watch starting from The Office and arranging them in a way where it comes back to The Office. The only favorite I Couldn't get in was Fawlty Towers.

I was also able to connect Simon's dad (Martin Treneman) to "After You've Gone" as the neighbor who fights with Jimmy Venables over a pool table that was tossed in the trash. This connection now connects the Inbetweeners to Plebs which co-starts AYG's Ryan Sampson. It also connects back to Friday Night Dinner through Thom Rosenthal.
