Question about scene where Alien talks through Abigail

Ok so Abigail floats up in the air and has a conversation with the alien and as it talks through herself, but then it seems to go away but then something happens in the room. You hear the other 2 people say "Oh my god! what is that?" then you hear the sumerian again but it sounds more coherent and closer.

My question is: was there actually an alien (or aliens) in the room with the humans? Did they physically enter the room and become face to face with the humans?

Only people with money say that money doesn't matter.

Yes. They were there in the room. They brought pizzas. One pizza was not the sort that was ordered hence the "What is that?" comment.

They brought anchovies. Always a questionable move.
