I'd have rather seen Thirst because I am biased towards Park Chan Wook, but after finishing this movie a bit back. I am speechless. I am without speech.

The entire movie is good, but just nothing amazing for a while. Then the ending and I'm just, wowed. Good pick for the Oscar, but it won't win.

Oscars never get anything right.

Stand By For Action!

I was hoping for Thirst to be Korea's entry as well. Although I too am biased toward Park Chan Wook, the film is absolutely amazing!

That being said I haven't seen this, but I want to so bad. It looks amazing.

A nomination for a Korean movie is a strict no no for Hollywood now.

Rationally speaking, an Oscar nomination eliminates the scope of an atrocious remake of the movie in question.

As long as Hollywood can pay homage to great Korean movies by making unequivocally detestable blunders in the name of remakes, why bother messing that up with the golden statuette?

Nominations aren't even out yet, how can you say it won't win...Let alone won't be nominated?

Granted, I haven't seen it, but it looks excellent. But it's a race between A Prophet and The White Ribbon...Nothing else will come close. By the trailer, it looks like a strong performance from the lead actress, I would have liked to see an unknown in the race for Best Actress, considering how weak this years' is.

The oscars are a joke, Madeo doesn't need any bald naked man covered in gold to show what a great movie it is.
