Crime reenactment scene

When i saw this scene, i remembered that it occurred similarly in Sympathy For Lady Vengeance and Memories of Murder, with massive media attention and all that. In Lady vengeance, she also wore the white mask as well. Whats the point of this exercise? It seems humiliating, especially as the culprit hasn't been found guilty yet, which was the case in the 3 movies.I don't see this happening in cinema from other countries, is it a Korean thing only?

What! During the sex scene, the two of them are playing the SAME connecting syllable game that the tough guys plays with that woman as she strips cause she's losing in Attack the Gas Station! Why these two play the game in Mother during sex just beats me. Another Korean thing perhaps, hahaha, funny!
