Can anyone toss around some statistics on suicide by multiple gunshots to the head wherein said the victim was motor functionally able and consciously able to fire a second round? I don't buy it. The likelihood of going into shock after the first wound has got to be extremely high. That aside, all American military firearm training 101 when taking down a target: fire 2 rounds to ensure the target goes down, then reasses, repeat if necessary. It's textbook. SMH.

Clearly, you did not understand my post at all. I sinCEREly doubt he committed suicide!!! I think the CIA killed him. As I said: firing 2 rounds, assessing the situation, and repeating if necessary is EXACTLY the way American military, FBI, CIA, etc. are trained, which just so happens to be the cause of death of the investigative journalist that blew the lid off one of the most underhanded ops the CIA pulled, yet it is ruled a SUICIDE??? WTF?? The man deserves better. His family deserves better. The CIA made every aspect of his life miserable, threatened he and his family, but he still wanted American citizens to know the truth. And the bastards killed him for it and blamed him for his own death, too. Which, I suppose, theoretically, he had committed career suicide and reputation suicide and painted a target on his head the moment he wrote the story. Actually, there are many examples of multiple gunshot wound to the head that are self-inflicted. While I was in school we were told that 8% of all self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head had multiple shots.some of them are caused by muscle twitch all others are said to be done because the first bullet did not do the trick. A simple Google search will tell you all you need to know. If you're truly interested you will do the research yourself, but after reading your post you clearly have already made up your mind and nothing will ever change it.

If its rare than there ought to be a doubt it was suicide. Also he couldnt be assinated when he broke his story because that would raise suspicion. Better to discredit first. Wreck his career and then kill him.
But the main point here is if the chance of an event occurring is rare than other possibilities should be considered. Its an Occam's Razor thing. One though where in this case its the suicide that is the odd solution that ought to be dismissed. It is more likely two die from two bullets by homicide.

Multiple-gunshot suicide is a known phenomenon. About 3% of gun suicides involve two or more shots, frequently to the head. This almost always occurs because the first shot missed the brain. If the first shot misses the brain, the victim would be conscious and not cognitively impaired, but in a lot of pain. That pain is probably motive to shoot again, this time more reliably into the cerebrum. There is at least one suicide I know of where the victim shot themselves four times in the head before dying. There is another suicide I've read about where someone shot themselves in the chest three times. These were known suicides of ordinary people where no one else was in the house, they owned the firearm used, and only their prints were on them.
