The Company's Bank

I don't know what happened to my original thread posted earlier this year after watching this film and reading David Thrussell's enlightening article, "The lucky country: A subterranean state" in vol. 9, no. 1 of New Dawn magazine—which I highly recommend to anyone who, having watched this film, might be interested in delving deeper into the influence of the CIA, drug cartels and international banks especially in the land "down under" i.e. Australia.

An excellent related article is David Hopsicker's "CIA plane in big Aussie-American heroin bust" at www.madcowprod.com/2014/09/12/mystery-aircraft-busted-in-australia-was-cia-plane/

This past weekend on the Australian 60 Minutes program there was a segment on the Nugan Hand Bank, a CIA fron organization, allegedly guilty of involvement in "a vast web of international drug and arms financing," which collapsed after the suspicious death of one of it's co-founders, Frank Nugan, in 1980. It's other co-founder, Michael Hand, a former Green Beret-CIA operative disappeared entirely until now. Journalist, Ross Coulthart along with author of Merchants of Menace Peter Butt managed to track him down "hiding in plain sight" in Idaho Falls ID. He had changed his surname to Fuller and has built a successful company, Tops Knives, producing specialist knives for military and police tactical ops units.
