Yeah, loved the first movie too. Very nice to see they're making a second one. Anyone with some details ?

PLOT: A group of humans from Earth who arrive on Sirius 6-B to investigate an SOS signal sent out from the planet, which has been supposedly deserted since the destruction of the man-made weapons known as "screamers." Once the squad arrives, they find a group of human survivors eking out an existence in an old military outpost, but more important, they discover that the threat of the screamers has become even more insidious, now that they're able to morph into human form.

Part of what made it so great, was the writer, Dan O'Bannon. I see this time we have no listing for who wrote it... that concerns me. Not to mention its the director from Kaw... a really bad film.

Hope it lives up to expectation. Number 1 was half way decent, in the right hands 2 could be a total classic, or as so often illustrated in the past by sequels, this could be direct to DVD bargain bins. Fingers crossed!

I doubt it will be as good as the first movie, though I hope it will be.

I'm guessing this is going to be straight to DVD?

Yep, the first movie was AWESOME.
