To the Shia haters.

This is the first time I have seen him in a film and was not appalled by his lack of talent.

I don't hate him, but I also don't like him. I feel his performances are over-acted and over-rehearsed. It shows in his mannerisms and body language, it's all very choreographed. I thought he did a good job in Disturbia, he was well suited for that role. However, when he is up against the likes of Guy Pearce and Tom Hardy, his limited range is exposed.

As a public figure his actions outside of the cinema do reflect on him whether we think it's fair or not. And his actions do speak poorly of him.

I've never hated him, I do think people let the tabloids influence their opinions of actors though! I was first impressed by him in "Disturbia" and "Eagle Eye" back to back! His youthful to adult in a flash appearance allows for a wide variety of roles. I only grew weary of his acting in the 3rd Transformer's movie which was mostly a whole lot of screaming. His role in "Lawless" was nothing to complain about, he was playing the youngest Bondurant brother after-all. My favorite Shia role to date however has to be as Francis Ouimet in "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and should have been Oscar worthy.

People hate actors who seem overly self indulgent and narcissistic, and he has those qualities in spades. He is an actor, but once you start getting known for the antics you do when not acting you are in trouble and lose fans. I think once he grows up and starts to be somewhat normal than people may like him again. He needed to be knocked down a few notches first. He isn't Marlon Brando, so it may take a while to earn respect again.

I can't stand his *beep* *beep* face and *beep* swallowing voice. I hope he gets murdered.

This is his best performance by some distance. He seemed more controlled unlike his pandering in them *beep* Bay films.

I think LaBeof would have benefitted greatly from attending a conservatory. He has good instincts but they're overshadowed by some of his gimmicks (i.e. cutting his actual face or having a tooth pulled for Fury) and how he pushes in scenes. I don't think he's guilty of overacting usually. Instead he has difficulty believing what he's saying.

He's far from being the worst. He just doesn't do himself any favors when he's off set or fighting other actors.

He's a terrible actor and a terrible person.
